BSL Energy Advice Drop In
Join the Royal Association for Deaf People for a dedicated Energy Support Day, offering expert, free assistance to help you stay warm, safe and connected. Their knowledgeable team will be on hand to support you with:
- Form filling – Get help completing energy-related applications and paperwork
- Translating English to BSL – Ensure you understand every detail in British Sign Language
- Signposting to specialist services – Connect to additional support organisations
- Energy-saving tips – Practical advice to reduce your bills and carbon footprint
- Applications for grants and discounts – Maximise your eligibility for financial assistance
They will also provide information and support to register for the Priority Service Register, giving you extra protections from your energy supplier, including advance notice of planned outages and special assistance services.
- Every Friday 10am to 1pm at Padley@YMCA Derbyshire, Padley Community HUB, Parcel Terrace, Derby DE1 1LY
- Every Tuesday 10am to 1pm at Loundsley Green Community Centre, Cuttholme Road, Chesterfield S40 4QU
