Arboretum Matters
Arboretum Matters aims to:
- Encourage more community-led events, activities, and projects for the whole family to enjoy
- Support residents to make local decisions affecting their life.
- Offer more volunteering, skills development, and opportunities for local people
- Increase confidence and leadership within the community
- Develop 20 stronger and more sustainable community organisations
- Build a more united community where residents, organisations, and partners work together
You can get involved as an individual or as a group by:
- Joining events, celebrations and activities
- Sharing your ideas and lived experience
- Applying for community development grants
- Supporting or volunteering with local groups
- Becoming a community connector or mentor
- Becoming a member of the Leadership Board or grant-making panels
Everyone can be involved! We welcome everyone who wants to make a positive difference in Arboretum.
