Derby Youth Alliance and Children and Young People’s Network (CYPN)

Are you a young person? Do you work with, or offer activities to, children and / or young people? If so, there are a number of ways you can engage in Derby City projects, initiatives and networking events!

The Derby City Youth Alliance is a coalition of community organisations that have come together to support young people in Derby to be safe, develop and prosper, with Community Action Derby acting as an overarching, independent body for the Alliance.

We want Derby to be a city where young people feel supported and have opportunities, where diversity and inclusivity are celebrated and where even those from the most challenging backgrounds feel happy, safe and empowered. Contextual safeguarding is at the heart of everything that we do. 

We now have a dedicated Derby Youth Alliance website, so if you are a professional looking to get involved with the Youth Alliance, or a young person or family member wanting to find out about activities and support in Derby, this is the place for you!
