Leadership often means tackling uncomfortable topics. This practical, emotionally intelligent session will help you approach those moments with confidence and compassion.

• Have we offered clarity – setting out our stall using TASC – Task, Accountability, Success and Checking
• Remaining curious – what else could be going on
• What does support look like – bringing honest conversations to the situation

Booking information

Our training programme is free for anyone working or volunteering with a Derby City VCSE organisation.

Booking is essential. As places are limited, we kindly ask each organisation to book one ticket only to ensure fair access for all. Please share your learning with your colleagues afterwards.

To help reduce no-shows at our training sessions and make sure spaces go to those who need them, we are now asking for a £10 deposit to secure your place. Derby organisations will have this refunded after attending. For non-Derby organisations and anyone who does not attend, the £10 fee is non-refundable. A small non-refundable Eventbrite processing fee will also be added at checkout.

Parking

Please note that we have limited free parking available in our car park, which is at the rear of the building and accessed via Melbourne Street. There is on-street (paid) parking available on Charnwood Street, The Avenue and Leopold Street and also a small NCP car park on the corner of The Avenue and Leopold Street.
