Connected Perinatal Support Overview Sessions
Connected Perinatal Support is inviting professionals who work with families in Derby to attend an online information session and discover more about the support they offer to expectant parents and families with young children.
The sessions offer a quick, easy introduction to Connected, explaining how professionals can signpost parents to its nurturing, safe, evidence-based perinatal peer support services.
Connected offers a range of support, including:
- One-to-one tailored support covering labour, birth, antenatal and postnatal experiences for expectant parents.
- Group coffee mornings for pregnant parents and parents with babies and toddlers.
- Dedicated support for dads.
- Peer support at Derby Hospital.
- Volunteer peer supporter training.
The online Teams sessions will run from 12.30pm – 1.30pm on the following dates:
- Friday 20 November 2026
- Tuesday 9 February 2027
- Wednesday 19 May 2027
- Thursday 19 August 2027
Professionals are encouraged to attend to learn more about Connected's work and how they can help families access valuable peer support during pregnancy and early parenthood.
