Community Action Derby supports the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) with training, development and information, and also advocates for and campaigns on behalf of the sector. We also recruit volunteers to support local charities and public services.
As a trustee, you will play a key role in guiding our strategic direction and ensuring we continue to deliver meaningful impact for Derby’s communities.
We ask for a commitment of attendance at four Board meetings a year, held on Thursday evenings at 5.30pm, plus some additional hours supporting the charity.
You will need to understand the role of a trustee and have the skills, experience and commitment that will help us achieve our objectives. Training will be offered.
We are keen to ensure that Community Action is as representative of its membership as possible.
