Derby Diverse Carers featured on BBC Radio Derby

Our Derby Diverse Carers programme was in the spotlight on BBC Radio Derby this morning!

Our Programme Lead, Becky Edwards, joined Harriet Brown from Derby Carers Information, Advice and Support Service to talk to presenter Dean Jackson about the findings of our Derby Diverse Carers Report 2025/26.

The report brings together the experiences of unpaid carers from diverse communities across Derby, following the most extensive engagement of its kind undertaken in the city to date.

Becky and Harriet discussed what unpaid carers from diverse communities across Derby told us about their experiences, the barriers they face in accessing support and what needs to change.
