Five Year Celebration event

The DE23 Active team had a fantastic day at the Active Through Football Community of Learning and Five Year Celebration event in Wolverhampton on 16 April. As we move forward in Derby to the final year, our focus is on sustainability. We’re excited to keep building strong partnerships locally and nationally.

We are pleased to announce that Community Action is one of the organisations that has received a grant from the LTA Tennis Foundation to improve lives through tennis. This funding will enable us to open up a tennis offer for our DE23 Active participants, which we are very excited about!

LTA Tennis Foundation is the LTA’s official charity with a mission to improve lives through tennis. As a grant and loan giving charity, their ambition is that every child, young person and adult can have access to the unique and life-changing benefits that tennis offers. They support organisations throughout the whole of Great Britain and have a focus on underserved communities and underrepresented groups.
