Going swimmingly! Success for our DE23 Active Programme

Ms X is a woman in her 70s who had never stepped foot in a swimming pool before she started attending our Women-Only Swimming Sessions.

She had thought she would never get the opportunity to try - now she has learned how to swim!

The DE23 Active project helped her to learn a new skill in a safe space with like-minded women, who actively supported her.

What a fantastic achievement for Ms X and the DE23 Active team!

The Women-Only Swimming Sessions are running every Thursday from 7pm at Moorways.
