Bowled over! Success for our DE23 Active Programme

DE23 Active is a five year programme that aims to help get the community of Normanton and Arboretum active.

Shameem is a regular attendee of our DE23 Active yoga sessions on Mondays, along with her sisters. She and her husband also run a women-only cricket session in Chaddesden.

Seeing the work that we do and learning more about DE23 Active has inspired Shameem. Now, thanks to her, DE23 Active will introduce women-only cricket sessions for women in the Normanton and Arboretum area, run by Shameem herself!
