Community Action Impact Report Jan-March 2023
Q4 has been teeming with exciting developments for Community Action Derby (CA).
We have welcomed several new people to our ever-growing team: Claire Thornber, Community Services Manager; Aliyah Khan and Zain Raja, Active Through Football Community Development Officers and Michelle Butler, Youth Alliance Coordinator.
We have been involved in the development and facilitation of even more key partnership projects across the city – specifically, the Winter Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), Active Through Football project, Derby Health Inequalities Partnership, the Mental Health Collaboration, Derby Wellbeing project, BAME Carers, the Community Hub, and the Youth Alliance.
Our Group Support Service continues to prove popular amongst Derby’s growing voluntary sector as more prospective groups are receiving 1-2-1 support - 18 new groups have received help and advice on how to register as a charity, CIC or CIO. Our sector is definitely growing!
