Lord Lieutenant’s Community Music Festival: Celebrating Music Across Derby
Two special events celebrating music, community and the diversity of Derby are taking place this October as part of the Lord Lieutenant’s Community Music Festival.
The festival brings people together through live music and performance, showcasing the incredible talent, cultures and community groups that make Derby such a vibrant place to live.
The festivals will take place at:
- Friday 2 October 2026 - Hindu Temple Geeta Bhawan, 96–102 Pear Tree Road, Derby, DE23 6QA

Saturday 10 October 2026 - St Luke’s Church, 128 Parliament Street, Derby, DE22 3RT
Whether you are a keen music lover, a supporter of local community groups, or simply looking for a great event to enjoy with friends and family, these festivals offer a fantastic opportunity to come together and celebrate what makes the community special.
Both events are free to attend, but booking is essential.
