Derby Volunteer Coordinators' Forum

Wednesday 16 September 2026, 12pm - 2pm

Oddfellows, 32 Charnwood Street, Derby DE12GU

A fantastic opportunity for Volunteer Managers, Leaders and Coordinators to come together, network, support one another, and share volunteering ideas, challenges, and best practice.

Join fellow volunteering professionals at the Derby Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum for an informal and supportive networking session designed to help you connect with others in the sector, exchange experiences, and discuss current volunteering topics and opportunities.

We will have a few guest speakers sharing their experiences of working with volunteers, and it is a great opportunity for networking, sharing experiences, and discussing best practice.

Word of the Forum: Recruitment

This forum's theme is Recruitment. We'll be exploring how organisations attract, recruit, and retain volunteers, sharing what's working well, discussing common challenges, and exchanging ideas and best practice to help strengthen volunteer recruitment across our community.

Refreshments will be provided.

Whether you are new to volunteer coordination or highly experienced, this forum is a valuable chance to build connections and strengthen local volunteering networks.
