Enhanced Volunteer Opportunity: St. James Centre

Deadline: 30 August 2026

Are you interested in working with disabled children or adults, but need qualifications and experience to get a job?

Why not try the Volunteer Pathway.

This is how it works:

  1. You volunteer with St James Centre for a minimum of 12 hours a week to gain work experience
  2. You are supported to achieve a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification
  3. You are guaranteed an interview as a support worker with St James Centre, if you complete the course!

You need to be a caring person with a real interest in people to join the diverse and dynamic team. You must be
able to pass an enhanced DBS (police check) and give 2 references.

Deadline for applications is 30 August 2026.
