Wear Red Day 2026 - Show Racism the Red Card

Wear Red Day is an annual national day of action organised by Show Racism the Red Card, bringing schools, workplaces, community organisations, sports clubs and individuals together to take a stand against racism and show their commitment to creating a fairer and more inclusive society.

Taking place on Friday 16 October, Wear Red Day gives communities across the UK an opportunity to come together, start conversations about racism, and celebrate diversity and equality.

Everyone can get involved. Schools, community groups, organisations, sports clubs, and individuals are encouraged to wear red, show their support, and help raise awareness of the importance of challenging racism in all its forms.

By wearing red and taking part, participants are sending a clear message that racism has no place in our communities.

How to get involved:

• Wear red on Friday 16 October.
• Encourage colleagues, friends, pupils, teams and community members to take part.
• Share photos and messages of support on social media.
