Voluntary Sector Forum - April 2026

Thank you to everybody who joined us for our latest Derby Voluntary Sector Forum on Tuesday!

It was fantastic to bring together so many organisations, groups and individuals working in the community to share ideas, build connections and celebrate the incredible work happening across the city.

The morning included a range of updates from the Community Action team, including an overview of the current state of the sector from our CEO Kim Harper, alongside insights into our Volunteer Centre, Good Neighbours programme, Arboretum Matters programme, Diverse Carers project and training offer.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to our guest speakers from St Alkmund’s Church and YMCA's new Parcel Terrace Community Hub.

As always, one of the most important parts of the forum was the opportunity to network, and it was great to see so many conversations, connections and potential collaborations taking shape.
