Family Hub Festival 2025

On Monday 10 March, one of our Programme Leads, Helen Britten and our placement student from the University of Derby, Rebecca Middleton, attended the Family Hub Festival at the Museum of Making.

Family Hub Derby offers a range of activities, sessions, advice and support for families and young people aged from 0-19 years and up to 25 years for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Families had the opportunity to take part in activities from:

• Freedom Foundation
• Supporting Communities 
• Introverted Moves
• CANVAS
• Derby County Community Trust
• Trinity warriors
• Derbyshire LGBT+
• Safe and Sound

Rebecca said, "Upon arrival, there were huge lines of people waiting to get inside. It was great to see so many different families and young people attend!"
