DE23 Active Year 3 Evaluation

DE23 Active is a five-year programme funded by the National Lottery and supported by the Football Foundation and Sport England to help get the local community of Normanton and Arboretum physically active.

The aim of DE23 Active programme is to help Derby's community of Normanton and Arboretum get active. We are passionate about working with the community to build a vibrant, inclusive and culturally specific space, where individuals of all ages can come together and enjoy a variety of activities

The programme focuses on three main groups - Women, Men and the Golden Generation.​

The project aims to:

• Increase opportunities to access physical activity in a safe and comfortable environment
• Aid regeneration of open spaces and provide opportunities for training and development.
• Empower residents to enable positive change in their communities
• Enable residents to work together with a shared interest.
