Local Welcome Meals
In a divided world, Local Welcome uses the magic of food to bring communities together. You’ll cook and eat a meal from scratch, with other awesome people, like you - some born in your local area, some new, some seeking sanctuary, or refugees. It’s a great way to translate your values into action, make new friends, and learn delicious, healthy recipes. You might start cooking with strangers, but you’ll end up eating with friends. Those who can’t afford to donate attend for free, and everyone else donates what they can to help cover the costs of running meals. Groups meet monthly in various locations across the UK, including in Derby.
