This week’s Spotlight On features Sight Loss Leisure Group!

ight Loss Leisure group are a not for profit organisation providing voluntary befriending and socialising events for partially and totally blind people in Derby.

They meet every fortnight on a Tuesday, they provide activities, singers and raffles! Sight Loss Leisure Group even offer a taxi service to their members so they can attend the sessions.

Several times a year they arrange escorted visits to help their members get out and about and socialise. They recently visited the National Memorial Arboretum, a local bird sanctuary, different garden centres and an upcoming trip to Ecclesbourne Railway!
