New Leaf Derbyshire’s mission is to improve the mental health, wellbeing and social inclusion of disadvantaged and struggling households in Derby & its suburbs. 

New Leaf Derbyshire carries out simple home improvements and provides support for people who have been referred to them to help create and maintain a safe, healthy, and ‘homely’ living environment. This may include:

• Providing befriending services to ensure households aren't isolated
• Signposting and assisting households to access specialist support
• Simple DIY tasks around the home
• Decluttering and reorganising 

New Leaf Derbyshire has made a massive impact on the local community, one individual who has been supported by New Leaf Derbyshire said: “I am so lonely; my family live a long way from here. Visits (from New Leaf Derbyshire) bring me happiness and give me a reason to look forward”
