Spotlight on: Love4Life

This week’s Spotlight On features Love4Life!

Love4Life supports vulnerable teenage girls, aged 11-18 to build the confidence and resilience needed to make positive choices in their health, education and relationships. Through 1-2-1 support and 6 weekly group sessions, they support 150 girls in Derby every year.

Their service was set up in 2007 in response to a growing concern for the wellbeing and safety of girls from an estate in Loughborough. Since then, Love4Life has grown to work across multiple areas of deprivation across Leicestershire, Leicester and Derby.

All funds raised will enable Love4Life to continue providing safe spaces for young people to overcome any challenges they face with the support of similar young people and youth workers/volunteers. The Love4Life team deliver arts, craft, games and discussions in their group sessions that offer vital emotional support on a range of topics including body image, online safety and healthy relationships.

If you would like to support Love4Life, get your Derby Community Lottery tickets and nominate them as your good cause here!
