Women's Health Hub Engagement Report

Community Action Derby worked with Links CVS and NHS Derby and Derbyshire to gather women's views and experiences of women's health across Derby and Derbyshire.

Community Action Derby worked with Links CVS and NHS Derby and Derbyshire to gather women's views and experiences of women's health across Derby and Derbyshire. The engagement included exploring the barriers women face, their priorities at different stages of life and how services could better meet their needs.

Between November 2024 and January 2025, the project gathered 1,730 responses, including 744 survey responses and 986 women taking part in community-led workshops delivered through 39 community groups.

The report highlights what women told us about access to care, communication, screening, cultural awareness and the importance of compassionate, inclusive services. It also shows how these insights are helping to shape future women's health services across Derby and Derbyshire.
