The Vaccination Wave 3 project supported local voluntary and community organisations to encourage open conversations about vaccination and understand the barriers people face in accessing trusted health information and services.

Delivered by Community Action Derby through the Derby Health Inequalities Partnership (DHIP) and funded by NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), the project explored people's experiences of COVID-19, flu, RSV and routine vaccinations, particularly among communities experiencing health inequalities.

Nine voluntary and community organisations delivered 39 engagement sessions, reaching 1,306 people.

The report highlights what communities told us about trust, misinformation, barriers and access to services, alongside recommendations to help make future vaccination information and services more inclusive, accessible and culturally appropriate.
