Group Support Sessions
Our weekly Group Support Sessions are back!
From 17 February 2026, the sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 10am - 12pm.
We can help with a range of things, including:
- Choosing the right structure for your group
- Understanding the legal requirements of running a charitable organisation
- Developing a constitution
- Registering as a charitable organisation
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of committee/board members
- Finding and applying for funding.
Instead of a drop-in structure, we are now operating a booking system with hourly slots available. To book a slot, please email jonathan.dwerryhouse@communityactionderby.org.uk or call our reception on 01332 346266 and ask to speak to Jonathan.
Please note that we have limited free parking available in our car park, which is at the rear of the building and accessed via Melbourne Street. There is on-street (paid) parking available on Charnwood Street, The Avenue and Leopold Street and also a small NCP car park on the corner of The Avenue and Leopold Street.
