Derby Adult Learning Service has a range of support available for Derby residents this Autumn, including courses for adults with learning difficulties, family learning courses and English, maths and IT courses.

Derby Adult Learning Service has a range of support available for Derby residents this Autumn, including:

• Courses for those with learning difficulties - Designed to support adults with learning difficulties and disabilities to become more independent, develop skills for work and help keep themselves healthy and well.

• Family learning courses, including New to English courses.

• Own Your Journey – Ideal for anyone who is not sure what they want to do or if they are even ready for learning.

• English, maths, digital courses – Upskill essential skills or learn something new, such as using AI for work, web design, programming, 3D printing or cyber security.

• Counselling courses to develop skills for working with people.

• Better Together Café (inside the Council House) – Mon-Fri 10:30am-2pm (lunch is served 12-1:30pm) or refer learners to gain hands-on hospitality and catering training.
