Direct Education Business Partnership (DEBP) is a charitable organisation that supports children, young people, and vulnerable adults to have a positive future by linking them with opportunities.
The Derbyshire Youth Development Board is a group of 16-24 year olds with lived experience of learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions, meeting every 4-6 weeks, to discuss subjects such as education and support systems and hopefully affect positive change, with both young people and parents/carers welcome.
The Board is seeking young people aged 16-24, with lived experience of learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions to join them.
DEBP aims to make the experience fun and engaging with ice breaker and team building exercises, as well as useful for the young people with the development of a Skills Portfolio. The meetings will take place in DEBP's Chesterfield office but they are happy to provide transport to and from if needed.
For more information you can read the flyer or watch a short YouTube video explaining the program in more detail.
