Our 'Spotlight On' feature highlights the work of the fabulous local groups and organisations that we support.

We are currently focusing on the good causes that have signed up to benefit from our Derby Community Lottery, to let you know more about their great work and how the money raised will support them.

New Leaf Derbyshire’s mission is to improve the mental health, wellbeing and social inclusion of disadvantaged and struggling households in Derby & its suburbs. 

New Leaf Derbyshire carries out simple home improvements and provides support for people who have been referred to them to help create and maintain a safe, healthy, and ‘homely’ living environment. This may include:

• Providing befriending services, to ensure households aren't isolated
• Signposting and assisting households to access specialist support
• Simple DIY tasks around the home
• Decluttering and reorganising 

New Leaf Derbyshire has made a massive impact on the local community, one individual who has been supported by New Leaf Derbyshire said: “I am so lonely; my family live a long way from here. Visits (from New Leaf Derbyshire) bring me happiness and give me a reason to look forward”
