Our new 'Spotlight On' feature highlights the work of the fabulous local groups and organisations that we support. Over the next few weeks, we will be focusing on the good causes that have signed up to benefit from our new Derby Community Lottery, to let you know more about their great work and how the money raised will support them!
Headway Derby provides rehabilitation for adults who have sustained an acquired or traumatic brain injury, as well as offering support to their families and carers.
Headway Derby aims to use all funds generated through the lottery to support brain injury survivors to access its services. Headway recognises that a lot of the time people don't have funding to pay for the support they need.
Headway said: 'Without any statutory funding of our own, we struggle to offer free support at times. This money would go towards ensuring everyone who comes to our doors needing support can be given it.'
