Shifting Stigma Project poster - all info in text below

Shifting Stigma is a community project from Kelsey Family CIC designed to address the negative connotations surrounding addiction and provide support to those affected.

Are you, or do you know of, an organisation within Derby City Centre that would benefit from these sessions?

Advice and Awareness
Shifting Stigma provides judgement free, pop-up style help and advice sessions where people can access free support and gain knowledge in regards to addiction and the effects of drugs and alcohol use.

Family Activities
Family activities can be provided to help build communication and trust. Each activity box comprises of an activity and discussion points, together with motivational items designed to empower and uplift.

Signposting
Shifting Stigma is part of the the DHIP Community Connectors programme, by working in partnership with various organisations to provide a personalised approach to individuals who reach out for support. They refer and signpost people to organisations as necessary.
