A campaign called Safe to Play is being launched across Derby and Derbyshire this Autumn to keep children safe while playing sport or accessing a physical activity provision. NWG Network's Safe to Play campaign, developed in partnership with Sport England encourages parents, coaches, volunteers and children to know the signs that something isn't right.
The campaign is kicking off with a marketplace event at Moorways Sports Village, on Tuesday 26 November 2024 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
Local organisations will be on hand to provide support and assistance to clubs and groups, as well as an opportunity to network with other clubs and share ideas.
