Information from the National Careers Service:

The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to help adults find work, training, and progress in their careers.

We can support any adult regardless of whether they are working, unemployed, on maternity leave, furloughed, and at any stage of their career.

We can help with any subject relating to learning and work, for example:

  • Choosing new careers
  • Career development
  • Locating employment -> including information on in demand jobs
  • Writing CVs / Applications
  • Help to identify skills and abilities
  • Upskilling – including a large number of free training courses that can be completed online

We have a number of free online workshops this month - these include:
