Our Social Prescribing team uses a person centred approach to help people have more control over their health and wellbeing.
As part of this, the team runs six Social Prescribing Coffee Mornings at:
- The Pakistan Community Centre
- Streatham Road Community Centre (Mackworth)
- Mrs C's Tea Cosy (Littleover)
- Willington Village Hall
- Chester Green Community Room
- Bramblebrook Community Centre (Stockbrook)
If you work with people who would benefit from meeting a Social Prescribing Link Worker (SPLW) then you can introduce them at these regular events. The events could also help you build good relationships with the SPLW and perhaps offer a taster in the space or a chance to speak with people about what you offer, if appropriate and people are interested in what you deliver in the community.
