Dear Supporters and Community Members,
In recent years, we have always aimed to be transparent about our financial position and the support needed to continue delivering our charitable aims and extensive programmes. Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to keep our doors open, serve our community, and uphold the high standards of our therapeutic arts and arts therapy services. However, the external environment has continued to present significant challenges beyond our most recent forecasts. Our income remains insufficient to cover rising costs, and we face ongoing risks related to our operational needs.
Despite the incredible efforts of our staff, partners, and volunteers, the CIC remains in a
precarious financial situation. We are not alone in this struggle. The aftermath of Covid-19,
reduced participation post-pandemic, and the continuing impact of the cost-of-living crisis
have all contributed to the difficulties faced by Inspirative Arts and similar organisations
nationwide.
With the support of our key stakeholders, including Derby City Council, Arts Council England, and other partners, we are actively exploring sustainable ways to move forward. Our commitment is to remain transparent throughout this process and to consult with our community and supporters every step of the way.
During this period of evaluation and planning, Inspirative Arts remains open. We encourage you to continue supporting us by participating in our programmes, attending events, and spreading the word about our services. Your ongoing support is crucial as we navigate these challenges.
