East Midlands Airport Covid-19 Fund

EMA Community Fund:

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on all of us, but people who struggle in normal times have been pushed even further into hardship. This is why in April 2020 we took the decision to temporarily freeze our EMA Community Fund and Community Sponsorship programmes, in order to redirect this money to community groups which are supporting vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You may be aware that our COVID-19 Community Relief Fund has already awarded funds of over £23,000 to 36 local community groups including food banks, local groups making scrubs for the NHS, providing bikes for key workers so they can continue to get to work without having to use public transport, supporting the elderly and a range of other great causes.

The fund is currently open for a second round of applications and the application form can be found here: https://eastmidlandsairport.typeform.com/to/oxWigL .

Should you wish to make an application for funding, or should you know of any other local community groups that could benefit, please do get your application in before 31 August as we will close applications on that date, after which our Community Fund will revert to it’s pre-Covid Constitution.
