In February's Women in Faith Network meeting Laura Burrill be hosting a special workshop crafting peace flags.
For centuries Tibetan Prayer Flags have displayed prayers for peace, harmony, kindness and compassion, in the belief that these can be carried on the wind around the world.
Whilst guiding participants through the process of crafting a slow stitched peace flag, Laura will be sharing her work as a Community Arts Practitioner exploring how community making and crafting can enable and support difficult conversations.
No experience or skills are necessary to take part in this workshop and all materials will be supplied.
There will be light refreshments and cake available.
