Trustee Training

Thinking of becoming a charity trustee? Already a trustee and unsure what you are supposed to be doing? Then come along to this workshop! 

The session will cover the following:
•    The six trustee duties set out by the Charity Commission
•    The Charities Governance Code and how it affects you and your charity?
•    How to improve your skills and knowledge as a trustee of a charity

This session will be presented by Ellis Pugh from the charity law team at Geldards LLP.  Ellis works on the full range of charity law matters from registration, amending governing documents and restructuring, to regulatory compliance and more. 
If attendees have any specific questions they would like answered in relation to the trustee role, provided they are received no later than a week before the event they will be incorporated into the presentation.
