Introduction to Trainer Skills - City & Guilds 7300

City & Guilds

Date and Time: Tuesday 4 September 2018 Tuesday 11 September 2018

Location: Community Action - View Map

The City & Guilds Introduction to Trainer Skills course is designed to provide participants with a sound introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training. It is comprehensive in content at this level, building the skills, knowledge and abilities required to be an effective trainer. On completion of the Introduction to Trainer Skills, learners will equip themselves - and their employer - with a member of staff who is able to plan, deliver and evaluate effective training no matter what the content of the subject they are delivering.

The course is based on the training cycle covering three main areas:

  • planning - including session planning
  • delivery - participants will deliver a 10 minute 'session' that they have planned
  • evaluation - self, peer group and course evaluation

This course is suitable for anyone, in any role, who trains other employees in their organisation or candidates looking for a training qualification as an alternative to the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS).

Community Action, as an approved City & Guilds centre is delighted to be able to offer this two day course in September at a cost of £150 per person which includes registration and certificate.
