Date and Time: 16 December 2023 at 7pm

Location: Honey Hope Farm, Bottle Brook Meadows, DE21 5AD

Local CIC Honey Hope Farm is a social farm in in Little Eaton, supporting the mental wellbeing of people from across the community by hosting peer to peer recovery focused groups and services for mental wellbeing, depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance recovery and other mental health needs.

Unfortunately, their services have been hit with funding cuts and problems for just over a year now. The biggest blow came during the recent flash flooding of storm Babet, when Honey Hope Farm lost bee hives, rare breed poultry, the bushcraft school, bell tent and outdoor kitchen.

The staff and service users along with partner organisations have come together to plan a
Fundraising Firewalk to recoup some of these losses. The Firewalk offers people a unique experience whilst helping the farm recover by raising sponsorship.

Participation in the event costs £150. Registration for the event costs £50. Participants are also asked to raise a minimum of £100 additional sponsorship to take part. Registration for the walk will close on 3 December.
