Would you like to enhance your trauma-informed knowledge and skills?

Derbyshire Mind has partnered with Relate and Derbyshire County Council Public Health Department to deliver free workshops on trauma-informed approaches for the voluntary and charity sector. The aim is to equip you with knowledge and tools to understand and respond to trauma.

The workshops are available to any member of VCSE organisations in Derbyshire or Derby City that provide support to the residents of Derbyshire. No prior knowledge or qualifications are required to attend these workshops. Whether you are a volunteer, employee, or organisation leader, this workshop aims to equip you with knowledge and tools to better understand and respond to trauma.

This workshop will:

  • Enhance your knowledge and skills of what it means to be trauma-nformed.
  • Provide examples of what trauma-informed approaches look like.
  • Work with you to understand how you might be able to support your organisation and community through being trauma-informed.

There is also the opportunity for organisations to receive a small one-off bursary (following completion of the workshop) to support the implementation of trauma-informed approaches within their workplace.

Derbyshire Mind is holding other workshops across Derbyshire if you cannot attend the Derby sessions.
