I want to Volunteer

I would like to Volunteer

Meet new people, learn new skills, gain confidence, gain work experience, give something back or test the water!

Introduction

People volunteer for so many different reasons and volunteers can do almost anything! From helping older people with their shopping, to providing legal advice for a local charity, volunteers make a vital contribution to all aspects of community life.

Every year, we meet hundreds of prospective volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in volunteering with local organisations. Volunteering is a great way to get experience, fill a few spare hours, meet new people and develop some new skills.

RSPB - Love Nature Week Volunteer

We are very excited to be planning our second annual fundraising project in the region called 'Love Nature' Collection Week.  It will take place 29 May - 6 June in over 50 towns across the Midlands and we are looking for volunteers to simply carry out a street collection as part of a team, collecting money in exchange for our lovely shiny pin badges.  We need volunteers to collect for at least two hours in your local town or city centre during Love Nature Week. You will be out in the sunshine (hopefully) having fun, meeting new people and directly helping the RSPBs conservation work by raising funds.

You will be provided with equipment and supported by friendly staff who will make you feel welcome and part of the team.  We appreciate all of our volunteers as we really couldn't do without them.

All the money you raise will be spent on helping wildlife in your local region.
