Get Involved

We bring the voluntary and business sectors together to make a positive difference to local communities, develop employee skills and build long-term relationships and partnerships between the sectors. Please see below how you as a voluntary organisation, and as a business, can get involved:

Voluntary Organisations. We are looking for exciting projects and tasks from voluntary organisations across Derby and Derbyshire that employees can get involved with. These can be:

  • Team Challenges: One off tasks completed by a group of employees, usually over one day
  • Skills Based Volunteering: Where employees transferable work-based skills are used to help maintain and develop a more effective service
  •  Board/Trustee Member: Employees help improve the governance of the voluntary organisation by becoming a trustee or member of the board
  •  Individual Volunteering: Employees give their time on a regular basis to support the voluntary organisation. This can be one or two hours per week or a few days over the month
  • Fundraising: Employees help to raise funds for the voluntary organisation by organising events, auctions, raffles and anything else that helps raise money

If you have a suitable task or any questions then please contact Thom Kellogg directly using the details below.
