Autism Course - FREE

This one day course is for staff working within Health and Social Care, Housing, Criminal Justice and the Private, Voluntary and Independent Sector and whose main area of work is with people aged 18+.
You work area also needs to be within the Derby city boundary
Course content:
• to increase awareness of Autism
• explore the scope of abilities found in Autism
• provide information
• promote positive ways to support people with Autism.
The training is being provided in compliance with the Autism Act (2009) and the content is mapped to the Skills for Care - Autism Unit LD210 (Level 2).
How to apply for a place on this course?
The course is being held on the following dates and venues throughout 2012 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Lunches are not provided but tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. There is a small café on site for you to purchase lunches or you are welcome to bring your own.
