Collect food with FareShare FoodCloud

FareShare Foodcloud connects your charity or community group to a local Tesco store so that you can access the surplus food they have left at the end of each day, for free! FareShare FoodCloud is designed to be as simple as possible for you so works via text message. On an allocated evening of the week, Tesco will let you know what surplus food is available. All you then need to do is text back to confirm you'd like the food and Tesco will get it ready for you to collect. We have morning and evening collection times available (depending on the store) and you can expect a range of food products including bakery items and fruit & veg. It all depends what is left over that day!

Become a FareShare Member

FareShare's membership option allows you to collect food from our West Midlands warehouse based near Star City in Birmingham (Unit 7 Metro Triangle, Mount Street, Nechells, Birmingham B7 5QT). We have 20 Regional Centres across the UK, take a look at the map to see which is closest to you. FareShare receives food from over 100 manufacturers, suppliers and retailers from across the food industry. This food is then sorted & stored in our Regional Centres before being distributed to our members. Our centres receive a vast range of products including chilled items such as meat, fish and dairy and can cater their services to your individual needs. We charge a nominal membership fee for this service, to cover the costs of running our warehouses. We don't profit from this; we are a charity too! Typically, our members save up to 50% on their annual food bill.
