Our Aim

The Derby City Health and Social Care Forum exists to bring together groups and organisations that have an interest in health and social care issues that affect adults and older people.

The Forum aims to:

• keep you informed about local, regional and national strategies relating to health and social care;
• create opportunities for you to liaise regularly with the statutory sector on local health and social care related policy;
• support the flow of information between statutory agencies and the voluntary and community sector;
• support your involvement in planning health and social care services in Derby;
• create a platform for expressing your views on local health and social care issues; and 
• facilitate representation on key strategic planning groups in order that you influence local policy and priorities.
