Health and Well-Being Board
The Bill is now passed and the work of transition to the new arrangements goes on. In Derby the Health and Well-being Shadow Board (HWSB) is preparing the way for 2013 when the full Health and Well-being Board will take over the responsibilities of overseeing the health of Derby citizens both in terms of the services that they can expect and the health issues that should be addressed, including addressing inequalities in health, health protection and early intervention.
Matthew Allbones, Community Action Derby and Dionne Reid, Womens Work (Derbyshire) are currently the voluntary sector representatives on this Board.

The next meeting will take place on 12th July 2012. The papers from previous meetings can be viewed by clicking on the dates below.
Minutes from the meetings can be viewed as soon as they are confirmed and are available here.
To link the Voluntary and Community Sector more closely with the issues raised through this Shadow Board there will be regular meetings of the Health and Well Being Network (previously the Derby Provider Network). Click here to go to the Network page.
