DCNP Structure

New Structure

As well as renaming the local strategic partnership the Derby City and Neighbourhood Partnership (DCNP) the Board and Management Group have reviewed and revised the structure. The new structure of the Partnership reflects The Derby Plan and aims to provide the best framework for its delivery. It must be reviewed regularly, at least alongside any refresh of The Derby Plan, and must retain flexibility to be able to respond to sudden pressures such as a recession or new legislation.

The outcomes indicated in The Derby Plan will link directly to the Outcome Boards who will have the responsibility to:

  • Lead on the delivery of the Derby Plan indicators, through the creation of partnership delivery plans. These will be based on the plans developed at the delivery planning sessions in December 2010.
  • Commission activity through task and finish groups and sub-groups and allocate resources
  • Manage task and finish groups and sub-groups by exception
  • Monitor performance against the delivery plans and indicators
  • Be accountable to the Leadership Board for progress

More detailed governance will be available over the coming weeks including task and finish groups and links with the neighbourhoods.

Outcome Boards

The five outcome boards will be:

  • Children, Families & Learners Board
  • Active Culture Board
  • Safer & Stronger Communities Board
  • Derby Renaissance Board
  • Health and Wellbeing Board
