Children In Need Funding Surgeries

12 June 2018
Community Action, 4 Charnwood Street, Derby DE1 2GT

Would you like to come along to a funding surgery and meet Dawn Watts from BBC Children In Need and discuss your potential project?  Then book onto one of the surgery slots!

Dawn Watts (Regional Officer for BBC Children In Need) will be at Community Action on Tuesday 12 June from 09.30am - 3.30pm to offer 45 minutes surgeries to those voluntary organisations who would like to talk through their project/activity with Dawn.

We welcome applications for our main grant programme, which can fund projects from £10K per year (up to usually a maximum of £100 - £120K) over 3 years. This can fund salaries or sessional worker costs, it doesn't have to be new work, so can be continuation of current projects that are delivering excellent outcomes for children. Those projects that address disadvantage in terms of abuse, neglect, distress, disability, behavioural problems, and poverty are welcomed. Our small grant programme funds projects for up to £10K per year for up to 3 years, again our focus is on making a difference for disadvantaged children and young people.

If you are seeking funding for a project idea and would like to find out more about our funding criteria, then contact Liz using the details below.
